Context
This project involved the transformation of an urban terrace into a lush, welcoming green space. The objective was to integrate vegetation, color, and comfort onto a clean, contemporary architectural base. Starting from an empty and lifeless terrace, our landscape design reimagined the space, turning it into a natural sanctuary in the heart of the city.

Design

The intervention focused on the installation of wooden decking, which provides warmth and visual continuity. Integrated planters and strategic cutouts in the flooring were designed to allow plants to emerge, creating a seamless dialogue between architecture and nature.
The plant palette combines low-maintenance species with high ornamental value: bamboo to provide natural screens and movement; petunias, bellflowers (campanulas), and daisies for a burst of seasonal color; and boxwood (boj) to ensure year-round structure and permanent greenery.

Synthesis
The result is a terrace that seamlessly merges modernity with nature—a space designed for relaxation, enjoyment, and reconnecting with the surroundings. The integration of the decking with the vegetation creates a balanced and dynamic design, transforming a once-harsh surface into a vibrant green oasis in the heart of the city.
